Algorithms are the building blocks of the digital world - they are used to shape the architecture of websites and the functionality of software. Each Brick (2021) is a physical manifestation of this concept - digitally generated by an algorithm that creates a series of random connections across a structured grid. The resulting forms all follow the same pattern of construction, but are each individual and unique in their detailing. A closer look into each piece reveals its’ digital fingerprint - a product of the 3D printing process that materialised this piece into glass.
